This term Room 11 had swimming lessons at the YMCA pools in Glen Innes. We had to see if we had to go to the deep side or the shallow side so they had to see if we could swim. I was in the high group because I knew how to swim. Every time we got to the pools we had to answer some questions about safety and then we had to have a shower. After we had a shower we got in the pool safely and then we put our goggles on. First we did strokes and after that we did freestyle and diving. After we did that we got to throw these toys in the water and go and get them and sometimes we get to swim in the pool for free. My favourite part of the swimming lessons was learning how to dive.
