Something In The Water Animation





Hi my name is jayah and this is my animation about something in the water this term we have been learning about the rocky shore cray fish like to hide under rockes and mostly live in the low zone they have a hard shell and their prey are small fish. they have lots of legs and two claws octopus are the predators of the cray fish. octopus have 8 legs and lots of tentacles. there predator are humans. that means the humans eat the octopus. Humans also like to eat crayfish.

rocky shore habitat


Today i'm going to be telling you facts about the  splash zone high zone middle zone and low zone of the rocky shore.

Splash Zone 

the splash zone is the top zone and is mostly where all the waves come crashing onto the rocky shore. Often with the force of the waves the waves could knock people over . The sea creatures that are found in the splash zone are crabs, snails, and barnacles large mammals, hard shelled , long period of heat can expose the animal.

High Zone

the high zone is similar to the splash zone, the animals in this area have to get used to the waves and stay in the sun for long but not as much as the splash zone. the animals that are in the high zone are limpets crabs and cushioned star fish.

Mid zone

this zone is covered in water and not covered in water twice a day because of the tides coming in and out. animals in this zone are made to breath in water and not in water. the animals that are here are bigger star fish chitons crabs and anemones

Low Zone

this zone is always covered in water this is an area were you find lots of different sea creatures. Most of the sea creatures hide in rocks and seaweed. the creatures that are found here are fish sea cucumber kina and seahorse and much more.

they dragged the tin boat along the beach, Areta pushing from the stern her grandmother  pulling from the front . it was hot...so hot areta felt she could melt keep pushing mokopuna trish called the sooner we get this bucket on the water the better  what do you reckon were going to catch today Areta asked. Jayah Camp advice


We tell lose about our camp and that camp is fun and you can do activities and also at night time you sleep in a tent and adult walk around the tent to keep you safe and tell her that we sleep with other students like girls and friends

Play ground Recount



Start Here.


On a hot cloudy thursday morning room 8 went to the playground. We walked silently in one straight line of boys and one straight line of girls. We didn't actually know what game we were going to play.


Challenge


When room 8 got to the park we had to do a challenge the challenge was an obstacle course it was boys vs girls we had to start From the monkey bars and then we had to climb up the letter and across the bridge on to the other monkeys bars and then up the rope thingy. There were 10 boys and 10 girls and one girl and a boy had to go at the same time.


Free time


After we did our obstacle course we were allowed to play on the park for a while. A little bit of us started to play some tag and some of the other kids in our class sat on the grass because it was too hot to play. My friend Aaliyah tried to do the spider on the flying fox but it was a bit to hard.


End


After we had some free time we head back to class to start our writing.

First Little big Riding hood is going to go to the pools to drop some sandwiches and chips of to her friends. And when she is getting the sandwiches and chips out of her car she realizes there is a man watching her.
When she realizes that a man is watching her she grabs the food shuts the car and runs. When she ran the man ran after so she ran past the Reception and threw the door bye the pool. The man follows her and then she slips whens shes running towards the showers she falls in the pools  with the food.
The man jumped in the pool and tries to catch her but she was too fast. Then she has to run to the reception and then  she calls for help and then security comes.

She went to the boot of her car  to get the food and she realized that a man was watching her, so she grabbed the food shut the boot and ran. When she started running she saw that the man was running after her. she went past the reception and threw the doors bye the pools. The man followed her from behind and tried to grab her but she ran towards the showers. While, she was running she slipped and fell in the pool. The scary man jumped into the pool and tried to catch her but she swam really fast and he couldn't catch up. She ran towards the reception and they called security she was so happy that he got court and that he didn't get her.

Fakalofa Lahi atu my name is Jayah and I am a year six student and i am 10 years of age. I am full Moari and i am from Taranaki new Plymouth I am in room 8 and my teacher is Miss Parent. I enjoy playing outside and finishing of my work. My favourite subjects to do at school is maths reading and writing and at home I like to clean and watch movies and also play outside. The sports I like to do is play cricket and I love play games with my cousin and brother. The games I like to do when its a hot day is water battles or swimming races at the pools I aslo like to swim and skate. sometimes when im board I just listen to music in my room.
