Task Disciption: today we went to the hall to learn about tuvalu and other things related to is. We did lots of diffrent things, we learnt a dance, the ladys told us a story about flowers singing to a girl and they also taught us how to do the head shoulders knees and toes in tuvalu. I thought it was alright cause we had to sit on the floor and litsen to them talk but it was fun dancing and learnign about tuvalu.

Tapa cloth maths

Task Disciption: this is my tapa cloth for maths all we had to do was figure out the metres and also turn them around what the number says. this was fun to do because when you turn the tapa cloth it shows the number.

Task Disciption: this is level 3 for maths just like the other maths I posted just a little bit harder, this was alot harder than the other one but our teacher helped us.

Task Disciption: this is a maths the we had to do today it also has maori words in it cause this week is maori language week we had to try and figure out what the maori word said to work out our maths, this fun hard at first but our teacher discibed how to work it out.

today we are writing about something that was cool or a speacil thing that happend, im writing about my brothers birthday. my brother brithday is on september 30th and we had the brithday at leahs house which is my dads parents house. My parents brought a rainbow cakewitch white iceing and they also got us all macdonals. On his cake was chocolate writing in his name and 5 pop tarts, we got it from the cheese cake store. after that we left leahs house a went to the pools and the cake also had sprinkles on the sides.

Task Discription: this is a tongan story when a man went surf boading and fell of and got tooken away from the current, this was easy cause our teacher showed us a text of writing and we had to draw a writing about it.

everyday theatre

on Friday just before assembly we did a production with a lady from everyday theatre.  Her name was Soy Sauce, she told us that we had to try and solve the problem that the family had, there was T,Dave,Beka,Bryan,Maraea,and Jack. So what happend was t which is Maraea and Daves son would always wag school and we had to try and ask him questions to try and find answers to the problem he had. When we gto more into his story he said that he didnt like his step dad bryan and wanted his real dad back which is dave, T's parents broke up and now his mum gots a new bf his name is Bryan. we did the same with all the characters so we asked them questions and we also asked his bsfrn why they would skip school and he said its because T always gets mocked because of the argument that his parents had and thats why they always skip school. we asked T to talk to his parents about his problems and he said he tried to talk to his mum but she said she was busy but he said that she has all the time in the world for her bf daughter. after that we asked the mum questions and all she said was she needed a break from EVERYTHING and that she gave dave to many chances. after a while we finally solved the problem and all the mum needed to do was talk to T and sort things out with Dave.

Family in tongan

Task Description: this is our family and we had to right what they are in tonga because this week we are doing lots of things based on tongan because of tongan language week. I thought this was easy cause we had the tongan words on the board.

Task Discription: this is my family and what we did during the lock down I forgt that we go for a run at 11 oclock but we had to draw our family on https://avatarmaker.com/  and also write what we did during the lock down. This task was easy cause my family has a routine and I know what we all have to do.

Maths reading scales

Task Discription: this is my maths task about reading scales we had to put the answer to what the mesuring showed. I found this easy because I already know a bit about measuring but thanks to the videos it was more easy.

Task Discription: this is my other  telling time we did when we were at school we had to maths the time to the numbers and make 10 of our own clocks, I thought that this activty was really easy cause I already know about time but my other on was a bit harder.

Task Disciption: this is my task about time we had to complete the questions the ones with the clock was easy but the rest was hard cause I didnt understand at first but after my mum explaned it to me I got the hang of it.

A Maori Myth Of Creation

Task Discription: this task is about what happend before earth there are 3 diffrent myth and legend storys made my people, they tell us what happend before there was earth and what they tell is is really interesting. We he to finish all the slide and read 3 diffrent storys. I liked this activity because it was a bit easy and fast to finish.

leadership camp Questions

If you were to give ideas for the next year 7/8 camp what would you suggest?

• What would you keep? I would keep playing games because they are fun and you can work together
• What would you stop? I would stop nothing because everything was great
• What would you add?  I would add a trip to the pools because its fun to go to with ur friends and its nice and cold
• Why do we have such events? becuase need to learn how to be leaders and examples
• Talk about whare tapa whā and key competencies we did taha tinana bye playing games and sports,we also did taha hinegaro by using our wits, and taha whanau by helping each other.

leadership / camp high lights

today all of the captians from the year 8 camp and the year seven captians shared there high lights and what they learnt from camp.

here are five things that I hear from the year 8 captians

• one of the year 8s said that one of his high lights was sleep with the boys because they were scared.
• another thing the captian said was it was cool that they grew out of their comfert zone.
• their other high lights was working together as a team.
• they also said it was fun when they shot mr  right in the back of the head.

• bradly sad that his high light was being a prefect
• oalii said it was cool that evan if the team didnt know each other they still worked together.
• they liked the way when they were shy at first and then they wasnt shy after the program
• sauma said it was cool how everyone became leaders and stood up and how we helped each other out and helped the little kids

Year 7 step up writing

Last week on wensday the year 8s went to leadership camp for 3 days they came back on friday but the year 7s got to stay at school and do fun stuff but we also had to step up and learn how to be the examples, which meant we had to step up in the school and be better examples and sont be silly.

the next day they went to camp we had rotations and went to diffrent classes my team the strikers went to room 1 and did a detective challenge we had to find who murdurd the man there was lots of people who came to a part and had diffrent things in commin with the man we had to find who killed him, we also did another challenge with miss moala  we had to find what the word meant.

after that we also did someother stuff we went and played net ball with miss ilaoa we had 2 games and I was wing shoot and i was aloud in the curcle  to shoot the ball when we were playing i wasnt looking and the ball hit my head and everyone started laughing so did i it was fun to play net ball with my friends and other.

the next day we did a cool game we played a game when we had to stack cups and put them back down before the other team wins finishes then we played a song cater gory game when we had to do  find a song with the word love in it or a song with shapes and stuff. After that we got to have a big shared lunch with all the year sevens and we also got to watch a movie with every one.

my favourite part was when we went to play netball with mrs ilaoa my other highligh was steping up and coming out of my comfert zone and not being that shy I also like the movie and the cup games that we played and the song game.

Te Whare Tapa Wha

Task Discription: Today we did a reflection about te whare tapa wha we had to write what we need to improve and what we have been doing to look after our te whare tapa wha. I thought this activity was easy because I know what I need to improve and what I have did.

One day he went for a walk in the forest to pick out some fruit for his lunch, when he saw a  strange looking berry he picked it up and but it in his basket.

Task Discription: Today for maths we did a task that was a bit tricky we had to make a hexagon and try and match the numbers but also make the hexagon look like one. for me it was a bit tricky because I didnt know about military time but then I  figured it out, I liked this activity A little bit cause it was tricky and fun for my brain, I worked with Rozaidah,lao lao, and waris we enjoyed this activity and I wouldnt do it again

My Passport

This term we are learning about around the world we made some passports on paper and we went to each country in the school so each class was a diffrent country I was away for a few days but when i cam back I did to trips to two diffrent countrys this  is my passport we had to write down about what we learnt from the country and the place teacther and the topic we were learning about.

TASK DISCRIPTION: 2 weeks ago we did an avtivity based on measruring we also did one about time and trains we had to answer the questions and then make our own measuring object I made two diffrent ones and it was fun. I really liked this because it was easy.

Task Discription: Today for reading we have did an activity about a game called ki o rahi we also had to make a disgn of the ki o rahi game we did the parts of it. A thing I learnt about this task was how to play the game and the diffrent parts of the game,I also worked with some people in my reading group and it was fun.  Task discription: this term we were learning about the world and we got to do a animation about the volcano erupting or the water cycle so I picked the water cycle and we had to make a movie on hyperstudio animating the water cycle. I really enojyed doing this because I love to draw it was fun to do and cool to learn about. HOPE U ENJOY

task Discription: so last week I made this it is my name in a 3D looking way I had to connect the lines on the paper and draw the letters on my name I really enjoyed it because it was fun to colour and fun to draw at first I thought it was a bit tricky but it wasnt it was fun

Understanding Decimals

Task Discription: today for maths we had to coulour inthe boxes in numbers so there was a number on top of the colomb and there we had to fill in the hundrens tenths and thousands then we had to colour in the squares so the big boxes were the tenths and the medium ones were  the hundreds and then the smallest one was the thousands. After that we had to put the number in the box were it say write it as a fraction so in that we put the number in and then put slash hundreds or thousands if it is a hundred there will me a number in the hundred and not in the thousand and if it was a thousand it should have a number in it and it wil be a thousand so we put 1 thousand or 1 hundred. I enjoyed this activity because it was easy and fun

what I did in quarantine

Kia Ora today I am going ot be telling you about a fun thing I did during quarantine. When it started to get boaring my uncle asked me if I wanted to learn how to drive,so I  said yea ok and he taught me how to do the gears and brakes and stear the wheel to turn the car. At the time I was at my nana and papas house during the lock down and my uncle was staying there so he wanted to do something,my nana and papa stayed on a farm that had lots of land so my uncle taught me how to drive on all of the grass. It was a bit scary because I was scared to crash. It was so fun to learn how to drive......

task discription: this week for reading my reading group learnt about the coronavirus also known as covid 19. we had to read a article about all we needed to know about the covid 19. we made a poster about the coronavirus and also put some information on our slides about them.

Have you ever been to the Movie World? Well I have. In today's writing Is about a theme park in Australia.

In Australia there are many theme parks that I have been to, but today I am going to be telling you about one. In Australia's gold coast there is a theme park called Movie World it is based on the Warner Bros and has lots of cartoon rides.

Did you know that the Movie World was made on the june 3 1991, I recommend you going there because it is amazing and it feels like you are in a real Cartoon Movie,there are all sorts of different rides and there are houses like old ones lined down a street.

In Movie World there are cool things there sometimes they put on shows, they put on shows like the joker and batman fighting in real life,they also have done one when the scooby doo characters came out with the car and hi fived everyone.

If you go there, there will be a ride. It is the scooby doo ride I really like that ride because it gives you frights and it feels like you are going to fall off the seat. Another ride of my favourites is the superman one andI like it because it is fast.
